Well This weekend I took off the back and back binding on the SJ thin line because of the second brace coming loose. I built up a new back and bound it Sunday, but this one does not have a book matched Quilted maple center wedge. Just a single piece Quilted Maple center wedge that is the same width at the neck end as my heel cap and end graft at the butt. It appeared that the issue I had with the braces was glue problems. some areas seemed starved some areas seemed thick. So I can't blame it on the weather ![]() |
